Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to buy Kaidn because it works for you, not because you feel locked in. There is a free tier so you can evaluate the Service before paying, a money-back window on your first paid subscription, and you can cancel at any time. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work.

Last updated: 10 July 2026

1. What this covers

This policy applies to subscriptions to the Kaidn Service purchased through our checkout. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.

2. Who processes your payment and refunds

Our payments and refunds are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases of the Service. This means Paddle is the seller of record on your receipt and processes charges, refunds and taxes on our behalf. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle, and the timing depends on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days). Paddle’s own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. Try before you buy

Kaidn offers a free tier with a monthly event allowance and access to all five checks, verdicts and the dashboard. We encourage you to use it to confirm the Service fits your needs before upgrading to a paid plan (AI reasons and intelligence insights unlock on paid plans).

4. 14-day money-back on your first paid subscription

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of that initial purchase. Just email us (see section 8) and tell us it did not work for you — you do not need to give a reason. This applies once, to your initial upgrade to a paid plan.

5. Renewals and cancellation

Paid subscriptions renew automatically so the Service keeps running without interruption.

  • You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal.
  • When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a period unless required by law.
  • Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. To avoid a renewal, cancel before the renewal date. If a renewal charges you and you contact us promptly (within 7 days) having not used the Service in that new period, we will usually refund it as a courtesy.

6. What is not refundable

  • Usage-based or overage fees for events already scored, and any custom or one-off services already delivered.
  • Subscriptions cancelled or refunded due to a breach of our Terms or Acceptable Use policy.
  • Fees where the money-back window has passed, except a courtesy renewal refund under section 5 or where the law gives you a right to a refund.

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right to a refund you may have under the law that applies to you.

7. Problems and chargebacks

If something is wrong — a duplicate charge, a failed upgrade, a service issue — please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.

8. How to request a refund

Email support@kaidn.io from the address on your account, with your account email and the approximate date of the charge. We aim to respond within a few business days. You can also request a refund through the receipt Paddle emailed you at the time of purchase.
